This is a beautiful paddle, thuddy and silky smooth gives a nice warm feeling. Paddles approximate length 32.8cm handle length 12.3cm width 10cm thickness 1.5cm weighs approximately 253g. Hand carved shaped handle inner core Birdseye Maple with walnut, Cherry and Maple handle slip.

This paddle has been treated with at least 3 layers of Danish oil, 1st coat is very heavy. This is to seal the timber and create a barrier its then left to thoroughly dry, while another 2/3 light coats are applied. Before the last coat I rub over with 0000 grade wire wool and apply a very thin coat and it’s left to dry naturally.
